This role As Head of Deparmtent, you will: Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Provide strategic and operational leadership across junior and senior schooling to improve student achievement, engagement and pathways. Lead the implementation and evaluation of whole-school performance and pathway processes aligned with school improvement priorities. Coordinate NAPLAN administration, analysis and response planning to inform teaching and learning improvement. Ensure school compliance with QCAA requirements for assessment, reporting and certification. Monitor student progress across junior and senior phases, identifying students at risk and coordinating targeted interventions. Coordinate and monitor VET programs and pathways, ensuring compliance and alignment with student needs and post-school outcomes. Lead whole-school practices to ensure assessment alignment, consistency and comparability across year levels and learning areas. Coordinate the development, implementation and review of SET/JET Plans in collaboration with staff, students and families. Collaborate with Guidance Officers, Heads of Year and Student Support Services to support individual student pathways and wellbeing. Provide advice, guidance and professional support to staff regarding assessment, pathways, data use and performance expectations. Interested?
