Contribute to essential school infrastructure programs across Southeast Queensland. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Mechanical Supervisor to provide administrative and coordination support for the delivery of mechanical & electrical upgrade works, primarily focused on air conditioning replacement programs across schools. This role plays a critical part in the successful delivery of infrastructure programs, supporting a dedicated team of supervisors and liaising with contractors and stakeholders across the education and construction sectors. This is an office-based position located in Eagle Farm, with a strong focus on scoping and quoting mechanical projects; ensuring materials, parts, labour, and WHS are all accounted for and documented correctly for each project. Key Responsibilities: 006 Supervisor will be required to scope and quote Mechanical Projects Arrange and order the Material/Parts for Jobs Issue Jobs to Mechanical Trade staff Labour costs to bill Job cards and close out projects Review Field staff timesheets Monitor condition reports, job progress, and repair/replacement updates Ensure project documentation and WHS compliance are in place Maintain accurate records, registers, and reporting tools Provide admin support across project tracking, KPIs, and team operations Identify and escalate issues or delays as needed Assist with the continuous improvement of procedures and workflows What You’ll Bring: Mechanical or Electrical Licence Previous experience supervising or coordinating projects Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and MS Teams familiarity Great communicator with sharp attention to detail Confident working to deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Experience with scoping, quoting and providing project estimates Why this role?: Support meaningful infrastructure upgrades in Queensland schools Stable role within a government department You will be working with a supportive, tight-knit team Office/depot-based in Eagle Farm, with plenty of on-site parking available Contribute to service delivery that benefits local communities What next: For a confidential discussion about this position, please contact Jesse, or you can hit the link and apply today to help deliver critical infrastructure outcomes for Queensland students.
