The Role: We are seeking a fully Qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on providing high-quality, efficient service to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and Repairing: Identifying mechanical and electrical faults in engines, steering, braking, suspension, and other vehicle systems. Performing Servicing: Conducting routine log services, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance. Diesel Expertise: Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and their complex fuel injection systems. (Experience with diesel is highly valued). Overhauling & Replacing: Replacing and repairing worn and defective parts, and performing engine and transmission overhauls. Testing & Safety: Using diagnostic equipment, test-driving vehicles, and ensuring all work meets required safety standards. Customer Service: Providing clear explanations of repairs and offering expert advice to customers. Workshop Standards: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. To be successful in this role, you will have: A relevant trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or equivalent). Proven experience in a similar workshop environment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
