About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Western Australian Government agencies. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strong public-sector relationships, and securing technology, digital, and consulting engagements. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a business development strategy for WA Government agencies and councils. Identify and qualify opportunities across ICT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services. Manage end-to-end sales activities including prospecting, stakeholder engagement, tender/RFP submissions, and contract negotiation. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior public-sector stakeholders. Monitor WA Government procurement frameworks, digital roadmaps, and major reform initiatives. Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to shape client solutions. Requirements 5 years’ experience in business development, account management, or public-sector sales (WA Government preferred). Solid understanding of WA Government procurement processes and tendering. Demonstrated ability to secure complex technology or consulting projects. Strong communication, proposal writing, and presentation skills. Ability to manage long sales cycles and engage multiple decision-makers.
