Modern Workplace Consultant Location: Perth, WA Engagement: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role: Our client is expanding their modern workplace and cloud consulting capability and is seeking a Modern Workplace Consultant to support a major Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) project commencing in early 2026. You will design, implement, optimise and support modern workplace and Azure environments for a wide range of enterprise and public-sector customers. The role requires strong technical capability, paired with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and deliver high-quality outcomes in a structured, service-driven environment. What You’ll Be Doing Designing and delivering Modern Workplace and Azure solutions, including AVD, M365 and Intune Implementing configuration changes, technical improvements and environment optimisation Working closely with clients to understand requirements, conduct assessments and provide tailored recommendations Supporting project teams with solution implementation and ongoing technical guidance Contributing to continuous improvement across cloud, automation and workplace technologies Key Outcomes & Measures Successful delivery of assigned technical work packages and project milestones High-quality solution design and implementation aligned with best practices Positive client engagement and strong communication throughout delivery Supporting the project team to achieve operational, quality and performance targets About You: You are a motivated consultant or engineer with deep experience across Azure and Modern Workplace technologies. You enjoy solving complex technical problems, working closely with customers, and contributing to a collaborative and high-performance team culture. You bring a strong work ethic, professional communication style and the ability to operate confidently in dynamic environments. Must-Have Skills & Experience: Strong capability across Azure, including design and implementation of cloud services Proven experience with Modern Workplace technologies (M365, Intune) Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience delivering technical outcomes in consulting or project environments Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-140, AZ-305) highly regarded Professional, organised approach with strong problem-solving ability Confident, team-focused communicator who builds rapport easily with clients and colleagues Bonus Points For: Prior AVD project experience Solution design exposure or involvement in pre-sales/technical scoping Experience with automation or infrastructure-as-code tooling Broader infrastructure background supporting enterprise environments Why Join?
