Hybrid Working, 2-3 days onsite. We have a (Permanent) Front End Developer (Flutter / React / Mobile) role available. You will be supporting the design, development, and maintenance of front-end applications across multiple platforms — including web (React) and mobile (Flutter, Android, iOS). You will work closely with the Senior Front-End Developer to bring more development in-house, improving delivery speed, consistency, and quality. You will also collaborate with the Core Systems team to triage and resolve UI or integration issues, ensuring a cohesive user experience across the product suite RESPONSIBILITIES: Front-End Development •Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript. •Build/maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter (Dart) for Android and iOS. •Support native mobile development where required (Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift for iOS). •Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and authentication systems. •Assist with component libraries, theming, and design system consistency. •Contribute to UX/UI refinements and accessibility improvements. Collaboration and Support •Work closely with the Senior Front-End Developer to bring external development in-house and standardise practices. •Collaborate with QA and Core Systems teams to reproduce, triage, and fix UI-related issues before escalation. •Participate in sprint planning and stand-ups, providing accurate estimates and updates. •Support DevOps processes related to front-end builds, packaging, and deployment. Modernisation and Continuous Improvement •Participate in migration of legacy front-end components to React and Flutter frameworks. •Implement and maintain automated testing for UI components (unit and integration). •Contribute to technical documentation and shared knowledge bases. •Suggest improvements in performance, maintainability, and usability. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : 3–5 years’ experience in front-end or mobile development. Strong skills in React / TypeScript / modern JavaScript (ES6). Hands-on experience with Flutter (Dart) for cross-platform mobile development. Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, or mobile build and deployment pipelines. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and client-side integration. Good understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimisation. Experience using version control (Git) and working in a team-based workflow DESIRABLE: Experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) apps. Familiarity with app publishing processes (Google Play, Apple App Store). Experience integrating analytics, push notifications, or in-app messaging. UI/UX design collaboration experience (e.g., Figma, Zeplin). Exposure to automated testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Flutter Test).
