We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineers with deep expertise in SQL database testing and functional testing across both web and mainframe applications. This role is part of a major database migration initiative and will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data flows across diverse systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, comprehensive test documentation capabilities, and hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing involving SQL, mainframe, and .NET UI applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute detailed test cases across databases, mainframe, UI (.NET and PEGA) applications, and file-based/flat file testing. • Validate data integrity and backend logic through advanced SQL testing. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments. • Support business users during UAT testing cycles. • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. • Support end-to-end integration and regression testing across multiple systems. • Prepare detailed test evidence, defect logs, data validation summaries, and test summary reports. Essential Skills & Experience • Minimum 5 years’ experience in software testing. • Strong hands-on experience with SQL database testing and UI testing. • Solid understanding of Agile testing principles and experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence. • Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills. • Proven experience in Banking/Financial Services domain. Desirable Skills & Experience • Exposure to mainframe testing and legacy system validation. • Experience with PEGA • Experience with ETL testing and data migration projects. • Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, ReadyAPI, or similar). • Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.
