ABOUT THIS ROLE Reporting to the National Fleet Manager, the Fleet Development Manager is responsible for driving fleet sales growth, expanding the OEM's presence in the state, partner with dealer fleet teams, develop new business opportunities, and build long-term relationships with key state stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively hunt, identify, and secure new fleet opportunities Build relationships with FMO’s, Novated lease/Salary packaging and provide assistance, training, product presentations and evaluation vehicles. Build and maintain a pipeline for current and future sales Develop and deliver tailored fleet proposals, pricing strategies, and product solutions Work collaboratively with the dealer network fleet managers Provide coaching, support, and guidance to dealer fleet teams on prospecting, account management, and customer retention. Organise and attend relevant trade shows. Monitor competitor activity and provide insights on market trends, customer behaviour, and emerging fleet requirements. Report on pipeline progress, sales performance, and account activity against KPIs. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Experience in Automotive Fleet Business Development, within another Auto OEM, FMO or from Retail Dealership with extensive contacts / FMO, Government etc. Experience working with the dealer network Exceptional communication skills - able to effectively construct business correspondence and communicate face to face across all levels i.e. Corporate/Government/Rental Business Customers & Dealers) EV & LEV knowledge including charging networks.
