The Role: Our Mareeba rural branch is seeking a Storeperson to join our small team on a permanent basis. This role works across Monday to Friday with a start time ranging between 7am to 8am. Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to: Stock control and receiving of goods. Stock distribution, storing and preparing for dispatching. Load and unload trucks Record chemicals as per Lindsay Rural procedures. Maintain accurate and efficient stock control at all times. Counter / store front sales and service as required General store duties as required. About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Prior experience in a similar role or industry desirable Current and valid Forklift licence highly regarded A positive attitude with great communication skills and a willingness to learn. Have excellent customer service and relationship building skills. Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. The ability to work unsupervised. To be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test. Able to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging.
