Job Description Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand for a dairy farm in Tarraville, located 10 minutes from Yarram in the Southern Gippsland region of Victoria, 2 hours and 45 minutes from Melbourne. The farm has a herd of 1,150 Friesian & Friesian/Jersey cross cows running both autumn and spring herds and rears up to 400 replacement heifers yearly. The dairy has a 52-bale rotary with ACR’s, milk meters, auto teat spray, cow collars and auto draft. The total property size is just under 700Ha with 270Ha of centre pivot irrigation with VRI and a 70Ha lateral walking irrigator. A four-bedroom house is available on farm.
