About the Role: Join our team and work to bridge the gap between students and industry! This pivotal role supports the Industry Engagement team, which will see you build exciting new industry collaborations, implement innovative projects, and create opportunities for students to gain valuable work experience and secure employment. This role contributes to the University’s strategic goals and focuses on improving graduate employability outcomes for VU students. This is a full-time continuing position at a HEP 6 classification, salary $91,796 - $99,361 (per annum) plus 17% superannuation, classification working 36.75 (1.0 FTE) hours per week. Duties: Some of the duties you are expected to perform are: Effectively manage the Jobs on Campus (students as staff) program at VU, ensuring strong stakeholder collaboration and seamless, high quality recruitment process. Act as a liaison between the Employment team and external industry stakeholders to promote and grow new relationships with industry partners. Share industry opportunities across VU for part-time/graduate roles, WIL placements, internships and project-based collaborations that align with students' fields of study. Support the delivery of new industry activities and collaborate VU departments to create synergies that benefit new or existing student programs, experiences and support their career growth. Encourage networking, mentoring and connection opportunities between students and industry through the coordination of engagement activities. About You: The ideal candidate is someone who’s confident building partnerships, managing relationships, and supporting graduate recruitment. You’ll need solid admin and organisational skills to help deliver projects focused on student employment outcomes. The role also requires the ability to produce concise, engaging written content that presents industry opportunities clearly and appealingly for students.
