About the role The Executive Officer is responsible for managing the processes, tasks, and activities that support the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research & Impact and ensure its effectiveness. The role is a member of the Executive Services team within the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and reports directly to the Senior Executive Officer. As the Executive Officer, you will be part of a highly collaborative team, working closely with the Senior Advisor to support DVC’s priorities. Salary: HEP 7 $97,863 - $105,932 per annum 17% employer superannuation Employment Type: Full-time - Fixed Term (12 Months) - Parental Leave Cover Hours: 36.75 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Location: Footscray Park Campus and Hybrid. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to develop and implement sound solutions, alongside a focus on continuous business improvement. Highly developed skills in all aspects of the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to support the creation of content that enables VU’s complete digital footprint. Responsive, with the ability to deal with a high-volume workload, competing priorities and unexpected events, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
