Research complex legal/policy issues and prepare submissions. Attend stakeholder meetings and represent the Law Society’s position. Lead and support a group of policy committees (e.g. Property, Privacy, Employment, Litigation, Business, Environment and Planning), including agendas, papers, reports and liaison with practitioners and staff. The ideal candidate: Strong experience in legal policy, law reform or related advisory work. Proven people management experience and ability to lead a small team. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skill. Strong research, drafting and analytical skills. Ability to manage competing deadlines and drive outcomes.
