Description Position overview – Due to substantial growth, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This is a 12-month fixed-term position, based in Brisbane CBD, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative Food Services project. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll help enhance core operational processes across all villages supported by Civeo in the APAC region. Your prior experience delivering Food Services projects will play a vital role in driving the success of this strategic initiative. Key responsibilities – Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data driven insight Work closely with the assigned Project Manager, to ensure that the project plans and timelines are being met. Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers and vendors. Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow. Support the implementation of new systems and processes, including user training and documentation Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications Skills and experience – Minimum of 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably with Food services or Hospitality systems. This includes experience in client engagement, requirements gathering & documentation, structured & object-oriented analysis, testing, end-user support, and business process re-engineering Demonstrated experience in a major transformation systems implementation and rollout Proven skills in eliciting and documenting user requirements, analysing requirements, testing, and making suggestions for business process improvements. Proven experience in the preparation and delivery of user documentation and training Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products Strong knowledge of business process analysis and system development life cycle process Knowledge of, and ability to utilize use case analysis, define and document business requirements In depth experience with software applications in the management and production of Food Services or Food Safety.
