Your new role: As the Quality and Compliance Officer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving quality systems at the Queensland Tissue Bank (QTB). Working under the Manager, Quality and Compliance, you will: Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) requirements and cGMP standards. Assist in developing and maintaining quality management systems and documentation. Analyse audit outcomes, identify risks and quality issues, and assist with corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate across teams to promote continuous improvement, professional learning and regulatory compliance. About you: You are a motivated professional with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance. You have: A degree in medical science, science, applied science or a related field (qualification in Quality Management highly regarded). Experience working in a medical, scientific, or regulatory environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. About us: The Queensland Tissue Bank (QTB) is Queensland's sole facility for the provision of donated human tissues for therapeutic use. QTB perform all stages of tissue procurement including donor identification, screening and consent; and all stages of tissue preparation including retrieval, processing, storage, despatch, and quality management. Banked tissues include bone, skin, eye and heart valves. Of the Australian states, Queensland has the largest Tissue Bank and provides therapeutic tissue products for both local and interstate use. The Queensland Tissue Bank plays a part in informing both state and national policy on tissue banking.
