The Role An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist - Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Maintain high level clinical practice knowledge and expertise of Occupational Therapy skills Apply a high level of professional judgement to facilitate effective clinical practice Support Occupational Therapy student placements including direct supervision of students and supervision of HP3 Occupational Therapy staff Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and development of professional clinical services Undertake high level psychosocial, functional, sensory and cognitive assessments with an occupational performance lens to support diagnosis, treatment, education and case management About you To be successful in this position you will require A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy AHPRA Registration Driver Licence Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Research Opportunities 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Permanent part time (60 hrs p.f) Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour About Us Gold Coast Health Occupational Therapists strive to deliver excellence in healthcare for all QLD Health consumers.
