About your opportunity: In this position you will: Provide managerial and operational leadership in the development, implementation and monitoring of local programs, policies, procedures and protocols in line with Hospital and Health Service and Statewide Forensic priorities, including Statewide and National Standards enhancing service delivery and coordination across the continuum of care across the Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health and AOD Service network. Lead and perform regular reporting and monitoring of MH and AODS key performance indicators (KPI's). Develop and implement solutions to meet KPI targets. To provide leadership to the team in the implementation and provision of a service congruent with the State-Wide Model of Service Delivery framework for Forensic Mental Health Services. Integrate and operationalise key objectives and strategies for a work-based culture that promotes and supports education, learning, research, and workforce development. To ensure that staff is appropriately skilled and supported to deliver services by actively identifying, facilitating and providing professional development opportunities for self and others, managing regular supervision and performance appraisal processes for staff.
