About your opportunity: Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high level clinical services; including triage, assessment, short-term and crisis management to children and young people with mental health concerns in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes related to Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) triage, referrals and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of intake and referral services. Develop relationships and effectively liaise with key stakeholders and clinical staff within the Cairns hospital, including the Emergency Department, Paediatric Unit and the Adult Mental Health Unit.
