This is an on-site role designed to give you practical exposure to day-to-day accounting operations. As an Assistant Accountant Intern, you will support the finance team with tasks such as: Updating and maintaining financial records Processing invoices and assisting with accounts receivable/payable Completing bank and petty cash reconciliations Assisting the team with month-end and year-end financial reporting Supporting the preparation of tax documentation and business activity statements (BAS) Using accounting systems such as MYOB, Xero, or SAP Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial documentation Collaborating with team members to resolve discrepancies and maintain clean financial data This internship is ideal for someone who wants to build solid technical foundations and gain exposure to how accounting operates within a professional business environment.
