About the Role The Events & Partnerships (E&P) Coordinator will be responsible for the proactive planning, coordination and delivery of events in Brisbane, as well as support the E&P team nationally on signature events and major projects. They will also be responsible for project managing partnership contracts and agreements, assessing the alignment with BDO's values, strategic plans and key focus areas. The Events & Partnerships team plays a key role in national and local marketing and business development plans, supporting BDO’s continued growth. Key priorities for this position are as follows: Coordinate the planning, organisation, communication and execution of events; Liaise with internal and external event stakeholders, including Clients & Markets colleagues, BDO leaders, event speakers and collaborators; Ensure consistency and professionalism is maintained for a meaningful client experience; Report on the success of events and provide recommendations for continuous improvement; Build relationships with partnership organisations that align with the firm's strategic focus; Ensure continual focus on identifying and actioning partnership benefits and opportunities; Support the national events and partnerships team as required, including with webinars and internal conferences. What you’ll need to succeed: Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities; Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; Ability to develop rapport at all levels; Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; 1-2 years of experience in an events and/or partnerships role (or similar); Tertiary qualifications in marketing or events management would be well-regarded but not essential; Experience in a professional services organisation would be well-regarded but not essential.
