THE COMPANY Our client is a global provider of Industrial Products, Parts & Services sold into the Rail Industry. Due to their continued success and growth they are now looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to their Sydney team. THE ROLE Reporting to the General Manager of Operations you will be Responsible for the Supply Chain Department, Inventory Management and controls for organising, coordinating, and directing the supply of all goods, materials and services required by the organisation within company guidelines policies and procedures and be responsible for; Managing the Supply Chain Team (5) including purchasing, procurement & warehousing. Manage team performance, streamline processes & transform the supply chain function in the business End to End Inventory management & stock Control of business ($22m) Work with Global & Local suppliers to support parts requirements for company owned workshops nationally. Guide on planning, aged stock, status reporting & monthly reporting Reporting to internal Stakeholders & to the board ABOUT YOU You have a Purchasing / Procurement, Inventory Management, Materials Management degree or equivalent. Preferred Proven Management, business unit transformation & people leadership skills Able to motivate and challenge all functions of the business to follow Company compliance processes, guidelines, and directives Note: this is a very visible, hands on role with people management and lots of moving parts in the warehouse and in the Supply Chain function in general, as such, there is no work from home options available for this role.
