This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded Senior Merchandise Planner to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities: Optimise stock levels and allocations to meet sales targets, minimise excess inventory, and support seasonal or promotional activity. Develop and manage planning tools to accurately forecast demand based on historical trends and market changes. Analyse KPIs like sales, profit, markdowns, and stock turns to drive performance and guide decision-making. Track and report on product trends, making data-led recommendations to maximise sales and reduce markdowns. Conduct ongoing sales and profit forecasting to support business performance and margin improvement initiatives. Develop and evaluate promotional and markdown strategies to enhance revenue, margin, and inventory efficiency. Build well-balanced merchandise assortments aligned with customer demand, style trends, and seasonal factors. Partner closely with Buying, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Finance to align strategies and deliver business goals. Mentor and support planning team, promoting a collaborative and performance-driven planning culture. Monitor market and competitor activity, using insights to guide planning and merchandise strategy.
