We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join our Business Excellence team within the Home and Community Division. Based at Cannon Hill (or another suitable location by negotiation), this role will contribute to the coordinated delivery of a major project that plays an important part in achieving meaningful outcomes for the people we support. In this position, you’ll play a key role in supporting project governance, reporting, and consistent project management processes. Working closely with a broad range of stakeholders, you’ll help maintain alignment and momentum across the project lifecycle while providing high-quality administrative and coordination support. As part of a collaborative, high-performing team, your work will directly contribute to the success of Home and Community initiatives. Key duties of this role are to: Provide high-quality coordination and administrative support for a key project, including maintaining documentation, schedules, resource tracking, and risk registers. Support Project Managers with project schedules, status reports, steering committee packs, and monthly budget tracking. Coordinate meetings and workshops, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and follow up on action items. Communicate clearly and proactively with internal stakeholders and external partners to support alignment and timely delivery. Organise travel, accommodation, and logistics for project-related activities across various sites. Assist with updating portfolio-level status reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely distribution. Support consultation processes, including preparing and sending consultation emails, scheduling meetings, and coordinating rostering or workforce-impact related communications. Perform accurate data entry across project and reporting systems, ensuring completeness, consistency, and integrity. Maintain document quality and version control, ensuring files, templates, and registers are accurate and up to date. Assist in managing dashboards that track benefits realisation and key performance indicators. Contribute to improvements in project delivery processes, tools, documentation, and ways of working. Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes or enhance efficiency. To succeed in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration or a related field (desirable). Demonstrated experience providing administrative support across multiple projects of varying size within an enterprise environment. Strong data entry experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with email communication, calendar scheduling, and preparing documentation for consultation or workforce-related activities (e.g., interpreting enterprise agreements and supporting rostering/consultation processes). Competence in project/reporting software such as Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel, Word and other Microsoft 365 applications. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders. High-quality document preparation and written communication skills tailored to different audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes. Sound judgement, logical problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Commitment to continuous learning and contributing positively to team culture.
