Job Description Mechanical Fitter – Field Service Tech l Full Time l $61.00 - $63.00 Join an experienced, motivated, and dedicated team of Service Technicians, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely service outcomes. ️ Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Service team at the Kalgoorlie Pump Service Centre, supporting the Goldfields and broader WA mining region. This role involves installation, commissioning, inspection, adjustments, and mechanical repairs of slurry pumps, valves, and hydrocyclones, both on-site and in our workshop. About the Role: Repair, refurbish, and assemble pumps in accordance with OEM procedures Support pump trials in the field Conduct on-site service work, including adjustments, commissioning, and operation of equipment Write internal and external service reports Investigate equipment failures, contributing technical evaluations and solutions Promote repairs & service capabilities, wear parts, and spare parts Identify sales opportunities for pumps and hydrocyclones Experience: Cert III Mechanical Fitter or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience Experienced in maintenance, assembly, or rebuild of slurry pumps Able to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and safety documentation Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Physically fit, with a current driver’s license and ability to travel on short notice Able to work extended hours or away from home as required Desirable Qualifications Forklift license Rigging and dogging certifications Benefits: Full Time $126,000 - $131,000 Relocation Allowance 15k 40 hours/week Monday to Friday, some weekends may be required.
