They are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their supportive finance team in a permanent capacity. About the role Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will be part of a small, collaborative payroll team responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services. The role manages a large employee group across multiple sites and payroll cycles, offering variety and the chance to broaden your payroll expertise. This position suits someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident managing high-volume payroll tasks. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end payroll processing across multiple pay cycles (weekly) Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements Handling leave calculations, superannuation, PAYG and other statutory obligations Responding to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner Supporting payroll system and process improvements Working collaboratively within a small team and assisting as needed About You The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience (3 plus years experience) Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation Proficiency in Excel and experience with Myob and Kronos would be ideal Ability to interpret awards and enterprise agreements Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive and positive approach to teamwork Apply Now Please click the “apply now” button to submit your application for this permanent January-start role.
