We are seeking Legal Administration Officers to join the Corporate and Early Childhood Branch in the Legal Practice Management team and the Corporate and Information Law team. The key duties of the position include As an APS Level 3 Legal Administration Officer you may be responsible for: Monitoring shared mailboxes, and appropriately allocating emails across the team Providing administrative and coordination support, such as printing, preparing binders, ordering stationery, organising meetings and events, preparing agendas and secretariat functions Assist with coordinating responses to requests for input received by the team Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and provide support Assisting with the legal branches' recruitment activities and onboarding for new staff Assisting with processing invoices, financial reporting and other procurement functions Assisting with the accurate updating of resources, databases and relevant documents across the legal practice Supporting the delivery of training conducted by or for the legal branches Assisting with managing the Senior Executive Lawyers' diary, phone and email Assisting with preparing routine correspondence, briefs and coordination papers Assisting with providing financial acquittal services, and travel related services Assisting with coordinating and manage regular internal reporting and meetings for the legal branches Assisting with the compilation of statistical data Assigning and coordinating briefs such as Senate Estimates briefings and coordinate document management via the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS). As an APS Level 4 Legal Administration Officer you may be responsible for: Providing administrative and coordination support, such as printing, preparing binders, ordering stationery, organising meetings and events, preparing agendas and secretariat functions Coordinating responses to requests for input received by the team, in a timely manner Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and provide support Assisting with the legal branches' recruitment activities and onboarding for new staff Processing invoices, financial reporting and other procurement functions Overseeing the monitoring of shared mailboxes Accurately updating resources, databases and relevant documents across the legal practice Supporting the delivery of training conducted by or for the legal branches Managing the Senior Executive Lawyers' diary, phone and email Preparing routine correspondence, briefs and coordination papers Providing financial acquittal services, and travel related services Coordinating and managing regular internal reporting and meetings for the legal branches Compiling statistical data Assigning and coordinating briefs such as Senate Estimates briefings and coordinate document management via the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS).
