The Team: The CEO Office is fast paced and dynamic requiring the support team to remain adaptable and flexible whilst delivering high quality outcomes for the CEO. The team need to work in a highly collaborative environment where clear and strategically aligned communication is integral. The team engages across the senior executive and leadership teams and with external partners/stakeholders on a regular basis. The Role: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to serve as our Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Sport Integrity Australia CEO. The CoS operates with a high degree of autonomy and serves as an advisor, driving strategy, engagement, communication, and alignment. The role is ideally suited to a proactive, detail-oriented and well-organised strategic thinker with a proven ability to communicate and engage across all levels of the organisation. The key duties of the position include The key duties performed by the CoS include: Coordinating, collaborating and advising the senior leadership team on matters relating to strategy, governance, risk and stakeholder engagement in line with the direction from the CEO. Maintaining an awareness of sensitive and complex matters to provide advice to the CEO and senior leadership team on current and emerging issues relevant to the agency. Coordinating and undertaking internal and external engagement and representation at fora to advance the strategic intent and business objectives. Delivering support to the agency's Media Advisor with media enquiries, releases etc. and Governance team with ministerial briefs/correspondence, and cabinet submissions. Overseeing and coordinating tasking and correspondence requiring CEO input and/or clearance. This involves engaging appropriately across the Agency and senior executives both within and outside of the agency. Writing and coordinating communication material, including speeches and presentations, relevant to the CEO, with input from expert advisors. Oversight and management of the CEO office, ensuring leadership and support to the EA so that diary management, travel, guest management, etc. are professionally delivered. Being adaptable, resilient, respectful and a model of agency and Australian Public Service (APS) values to deliver timely and excellent results. Perform Secretariat functions to CEO chaired forums/events as required.
