Cabinet Maker / Joiner – Workshop (Day Shift) – Bayswater, VIC About the Company We’re working with a growing, high-quality shop-fitting and commercial fit-out business based in Bayswater, VIC. With increasing demand across Australia and a thriving internal workshop, they’re scaling up and looking for exceptional trade-qualified Cabinet Makers/Joiners to join their day-shift team. The Role As a Cabinet Maker in their internal workshop, you will: Manufacture, assemble and install bespoke cabinetry and joinery components for commercial and retail fit-out projects. Read and interpret architectural plans and detailed internal shop drawings. Safely operate woodworking machines, tools, and jigs, and make precise measurements, cuts, and joins with consistent quality. Assemble, finish and install cabinetry and joinery items, ensuring fit-out deadlines are met. Coordinate workload with team members and project teams to ensure smooth flow and timely delivery. Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment in line with company WH&S standards. What we’re looking for Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Woodworking or Joinery (Cert III or equivalent). Preferably 5 years’ experience working in a cabinet-making workshop or joinery environment. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications for commercial work. Excellent attention to detail, precision craftsmanship, and a strong work ethic. Good communication, time management and teamwork skills. Must be based in Melbourne / Sunbury region (or willing to relocate/commute). Must hold full right to work in Australia. Ability to provide references from at least two previous employers.
