Job Description Our role as Assistant Project Managers is to provide vital project support roles within crucial building services projects for major clients. The role supports Senior Project Managers and liaise directly with contractors, consultants and clients to facilitate the day-to-day operations of the project, as well as work on project programme, budget, and quality of delivery to facilitate the best possible project outcomes. Our team is looking for a graduate/assistant project manager to support a mix of Commercial/Education/Government Building Services projects: To support Project Management Commissions, driving end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to smaller, technically complex projects. To act as - or support - the key, day to day client interface, supporting client project objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards. Support all aspects of the project and both the internal team and consultant team to deliver quality outputs on time. Support commissions, cashflows, budgets plus assist with resourcing and superintendent recommendations. If you join our team, you will be supporting and working on the end-to-end service delivery of complex and interesting projects. Typical projects are vital to existing building operations, and can include Electrical, HVAC, Controls, Fire Hydraulic, Security and Communications upgrades, replacements and installations. You will be able to see how projects are identified, assessed, planned, and then taken through the preliminary design, detailed design, tender, construction and close out phases. You will assist with development of budgets, will support complex stakeholder arrangements , support the management and assessment of tenders, co-ordinate contractors and consultants and will get to take ownership of the aspects of projects you deliver. You will also have the opportunity to assist with client relationship management and business generation as part of the wider team.
