12 Week Contract only New modern Sydney offices next to Pyrmont Exciting new Appian greenfield project Excellent rates on offer We are looking to hire a Appian Developer Software Engineer . The role plays an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and is essential to the successful delivery and continuous improvement of this new Appian System. This role is based in Sydney CBD . Duties: Participate as part of a Appian team in sprint related activities (Analysis, Design, Build/ Development) in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release. Demonstrate initiative in contributing to problem solving, design solutions and team goals. Write operational and software documentation necessary for the application from a technical standpoint. Provide technical Appian solutions in terms of code, design, and industry best practices to ensure a quality product. Document technical designs to enable stakeholders and governance teams to review and endorse solutions being implemented. Coordinate across multiple scrum teams to ensure functionality and integration points are working as per business expectation. Document and maintain existing development, change requests and new development. QA/Test newly delivered features. Qualifications/Personal Attributes: Experience with designing & implementation of modules and App connectivity methods like (APIs, SOAP Requests with WSDLs, Database Links) Appian experience preferred, creating Appian plug-ins, smart services and knowledge of Appian product Architecture is a strong plus CI/CD experience Working knowledge of Agile tools preferably JIRA and Confluence Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience communicating with peers, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements & describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy Exposure to FITNESSE tool This is a Appian contract assignment for 12 weeks only Please note: w e will only be contacting candidates directly who have been shortlisted.
