The team Information Technology Services delivers diverse IT facilities and support to ASIC, driving major technology projects in virtualisation, data analytics, mobility, and cloud to enhance operations. The Oracle Systems Team develops, maintains, and supports key Registry Applications, including SOA and middleware, ensuring continuous improvement and stability across development, testing, and implementation. The role As a Middleware Developer, you will lead middleware integration design and delivery, including technical documentation and team guidance. As a Middleware Developer you will also be required to: Develop and maintain APIs and integrations using Oracle SOA, Boomi Modernize legacy Java systems and ensure platform stability Support audits and swiftly address compliance issues Provide Level 2/3 support, resolve data issues, and generate ad-hoc database reports Manage and resolve P1/P2 production incidents in collaboration with business and incident teams About you In order to be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualifications in IT or technology-related studies is desirable. Significant experience (3-8 years) in Application design and development of Middleware related technologies Excellent experience with XML, WSDL (Web Service Description Language), and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) Excellent working knowledge of mainstream messaging systems in particular Java Message Service (JMS) Working knowledge of WebLogic Server 12.x platform. Experience with Java codebase Sound Experience with security practices Knowledge & Skills Technical knowledge of middleware and integration tools. Knowledge of ASIC's Registry or Regulatory business functions is beneficial. Ability to quickly up-skill on new platforms and expand knowledge through training and on the job experience Ability to work & communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
