About the Role As part of BDO’s continued growth in our Risk Advisory (RAS) practice , we are looking for a Senior Consultant/ Assistant Manager to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team in Brisbane. In this role, you will work across a broad range of projects including enterprise risk management, organisational resilience , governance, controls and compliance . You will play a key role in helping our clients build stronger more future-ready organisations by designing and implementing, practical, forward-thinking solutions. You will have the opportunity to: Drive organisational resilience through a variety of client facing GRC projects , including risk assessments, internal audits and resilience planning across a range of industries and client sizes Contribute to the d esign and implementation of enterprise risk and compliance frameworks Help our clients modernise their GRC and internal audit functions Elevate your skills in pro j ect management , delivering compelling reports and facilitating client conversations that shape strategic decisions Assess and uplift internal control environments, identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and supporting implementation to drive better governance outcomes Develop junior staff through coaching, mentoring and training Support your senior RAS colleagues in the design and execution of business development initiatives, and hone your own business development skills Collaborat e across services lines to deliver integrated and tailored client solutions About You Prior experience working with risk and resilience, internal audit, and/or assurance concepts and techniques , ideally within a professional services environment Tertiary qualification(s) (including post- grad qualifications such as CIA/CPA/CA) will be viewed favourably A passion and open mind for innovating, solving problems, collaborating with others Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (via reports, spreadsheets, presentations, emails, and in conversations), work in a multi-disciplinary team, manage engagements and deliverables A strong drive for development and desire to contribute to a culture of high performance, psychological safety and shared success Why BDO?
