As a Senior Procurement Officer at QLeave, your primary responsibility is to provide specialised procurement advice and manage the end-to-end procurement process for a variety of goods and services, including Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC). You'll conduct market research, develop procurement plans, prepare documentation, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Additionally, you'll maintain records, analyse data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributionUsing your understanding and experience in procurement, you will: support procurement processes, particularly for low-value, low-risk engagements (mostly off Standing Offer Arrangements), ensuring alignment with organisational policies, Queensland Procurement Framework, and value-for-money principles perform market research to identify appropriate suppliers and develop procurement plans and risk assessments prepare end-to-end procurement documentation including contracts for goods and services and QITC, in collaboration with subject matter experts, and facilitate the end-to-end procurement process liaise, negotiate timeframes and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders in relation to procurement policy, process and delegations, to ensure a consistent approach to undertaking procurement across the organisation use problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills to manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and procedures maintain good record keeping including monitoring, tracking and recording procurement documents and contracts in the organisation's document management system, monitoring contract milestones and expiry dates and preparing contract extensions and variations as needed in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders proactively partner with relevant internal stakeholders to assist with administration of contracts for goods and services and QITC contracts to ensure that the goods and services being provided are fit for purpose, relevant certifications, accreditations and insurances are up to date, and milestones and contract pricing correspond to contract terms collate data to analyse and report back to internal stakeholders any other tasks as directed from time to time as directed by your supervisor. This position reports to the Principal Procurement Officer and has no supervisory responsibilities or direct reports.
