About the role: As the successful applicant, you will join the team at the Freedom of Information (FOI) division of Victoria Police where you will be required to process FOI requests and provide advice in relation to FOI legislation and process to stakeholders, including members of the public, Victoria Police employees and Government agencies. The Public Support Information Officer role consists of providing expert and responsive administrative assistance within the division in both the initial receipt of requests as well as the sourcing of appropriate documents. About You: The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: The ability to work autonomously and manage their own workload whilst meeting regulated time frames. Attention to detail and proven skills in maintaining accurate records Interpersonal and Communication skills A demonstrated ability to work within a team environment Be able to deal with sensitive and highly confidential information in an appropriate manner.
