Overland Motel is now looking for a Barista to join their team The right candidate will be responsible for: Preparing high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to consistent standards; Managing daily café operations including opening, closing, and maintaining a clean, organised workspace; Monitoring stock levels for coffee beans, milk, pastries, and café supplies, and assisting with ordering when required; Providing warm, efficient customer service to guests and visitors; Handling POS transactions, cash management, and basic daily reconciliations; Assisting with light food preparation and maintaining food-safety procedures; Ensuring equipment is cleaned, maintained, and operated safely and efficiently; About you: At least 1 year of of experience as a barista; Confident in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and beverage presentation; Strong customer-service skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Reliable, well-organised, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards; Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene requirements.
