About the role: We are looking for an experienced office/administration manager, who is passionate about sustainability and the environment, to run the day-to-day operations of the office. It will see you, day to day: Supporting the Managing Director to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency Providing exceptional customer service to clients and industry partners Reviewing and improving office procedures to increase efficiency Working autonomously and in a team with a high degree of control over your own activities Liaising with local government departments Maintaining the integrity of systems and client information Setting up and coordinating meetings for stakeholders Implementing policies and procedures Staying current on personnel matters Acting as the central liaison point for all projects Maintaining financial records Answering phones and calendar management Managing marketing activities including a monthly newsletter and social media posts Organising and supporting promotional trade events Collaborating with and supporting colleagues. What you MUST have to apply for this role: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in office administration Previous experience within the construction industry (preferably residential construction) High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook A working knowledge of CoPilot (or other AI tool) Experience working with or for Local Government departments (Planning) Previous pre-start experience Working knowledge of MYOB invoicing and payroll Strong attention to detail Exceptional customer service skills A valid Australian driver’s licence Excellent verbal and written communication skills You will also be highly regarded if you have: A qualification in Office or Business Management Familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive Basic working knowledge of ArchiCAD Demonstrated understanding of construction drawings Previously prepared planning applications Basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar A history of contribution to the community or environment First aid certificate A history of investing in personal development.
