Our Purpose: Queensland's hospital system is facing greater demand and pressure than ever before. To help address this, Health Infrastructure Queensland (HIQ), in partnership with Hospital and Health Services (HHS), is leading the biggest hospital expansion program Queensland has ever seen. The program includes building three new hospitals, expanding 11, upgrading rural and regional health facilities and delivering thousands of new hospital beds in the next five years. In addition, the intent is for this to be the first tranche of a 15-year program of infrastructure investments. Working in HIQ, you will forge a new sustainable delivery model and contribute to the delivery of projects that ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders - what could be more rewarding than that? Benefits for Joining HIQ: Attractive and competitive salary, generous employer superannuation contributions and leave loading. Permanent opportunity available offering great job security. Flexible working arrangements along with a supportive and friendly work environment. Corporate discounts and employee wellness programs. Countless opportunities to learn and ongoing professional development. Committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees. You will contribute to making a difference in the lives of Queenslanders. Key Responsibilities: Provide timely and accurate technical advice to Senior Project Directors, Project Directors, Project Officers and Staff to help drive quality procurement and contract outcomes for infrastructure projects. Lead and manage the procurement services team within Health Infrastructure Queensland to deliver high quality procurement support to infrastructure projects and the broader health system.
