About the Role… As a Business Manager in our Workforce Australia Employment Services team, you’ll lead a passionate group of Employment Consultants. Your mission: drive performance, support your team, and deliver life-changing employment outcomes for job seekers. Location : Ipswich,Qld Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team of Employment Consultants to exceed performance targets. Ensure compliance with Workforce Australia contractual obligations. Build strong relationships with local employers, community groups, and stakeholders. Monitor and report on site performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture. What makes a great Business Manager? Capabilities & Experience Experience in Employment Services or clearly demonstrated transferable skills. People leadership exposure and/or understanding. Strong understanding of Workforce Australia or related government programs. Sound understanding of the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) & Indigenous contracts ( desirable but not mandatory ). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Results-driven mindset with a passion for helping others succeed. Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments. Proven experience working in a high-performance driven environment. Demonstrable ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders. Eligibility to meet legislative requirements for clearance to work in the Employment Services programs.
