The opportunity We’re looking for a Risk & Compliance Business Partner – Investment Operations & Managed Accounts to join our Line 2 Risk & Compliance team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Chief Operations Officer , the Customer Operations Leadership team and key stakeholders across Investment Operations, Managed Accounts and Custody. You’ll provide pragmatic, independent risk and compliance advice across critical investment operations, with a particular focus on IDPS and superannuation products . This is a senior role for someone who understands the complexity of investment operations and enjoys influencing outcomes through strong partnership and thoughtful challenge. What you’ll be doing Act as a trusted Line 2 risk and compliance partner across Investment Operations, Managed Accounts and Custody Provide independent advice and challenge to first line activities across trading, corporate actions, tax and asset administration Lead Line 2 assurance reviews and risk assessment activities Support investigation, escalation and remediation of incidents, issues and breaches Review and advise on compliance with ASX Market Integrity Rules and trading conduct obligations Respond to trade escalation referrals, including regulatory reporting where required Contribute to the design and ongoing strengthening of risk and compliance frameworks, policies and controls Prepare clear, actionable risk and compliance insights for senior stakeholders About you You’re a confident and pragmatic risk professional who understands how to balance strong oversight with meaningful business partnership. You’re comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments and translating requirements into practical outcomes that support the business. You enjoy working across multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities and making a tangible impact in a fast‑growing organisation. Experience & qualifications 7 years’ experience in risk, compliance or investment management within financial services Proven experience operating in a Line 2 Risk & Compliance role Strong understanding of back‑office investment operations and platform environments Experience managing incidents, breaches and remediation activity Working knowledge of APRA, ASIC and OAIC regulatory requirements Exposure to ASX Market Integrity Rules and trading compliance (desirable) Experience with IDPS, superannuation and managed account structures Tertiary qualifications in finance, risk, compliance or a related discipline Life At Netwealth At Netwealth, we believe a fulfilling career is built on growth, balance, and belonging .
