About the Role: Based in Brisbane City's waterfront at National Storage HQ, we are excited to expand our Facilities Management team. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and well organised Facilities Manager to coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations across our network of 270 centres. Reporting to the Facilities Team Lead, this role will sit within our Safety & Facilities team. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness . You will take ownership of overseeing external contractors, maintenance programs, maintaining high-quality standards across our sites spanning Australia and New Zealand. This is a highly administrative and integral role in ensuring our facilities are safe, efficient, and aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Facilities team to prioritise, plan, and deliver facility tasks efficiently and on schedule. Support Operational and Centre Teams through our ticketing platform, ensuring clear communication and visibility of works from initiation to completion. Oversee repairs, reactive and planned maintenance, and building improvement works. Work with service providers to manage scheduled maintenance programs, cyclic testing, fire compliance, plant and equipment servicing, landscaping, and other contracted services to ensure compliance and quality performance. Demonstrate a strong understanding of building compliance requirements in line with AS/NZS standards and regulations (highly desirable). Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to obtain competitive and transparent quotes. Manage the procurement and coordination of approved service providers and suppliers, ensuring alignment with Preferred Supplier/Contractor List policies. About You: Proven experience in asset or facilities management across multi-site or service-driven environments. Strong background in building compliance, maintenance planning, scheduling, and overall facilities operations. Experienced working with external providers, contractors, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships at all levels. Highly organised, with strong time management and project coordination skills, capable of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines. Willing to undertake planned travel to inspect centres across the portfolio, generally once or twice per year as part of ongoing compliance and maintenance oversight. Collaborative with a positive attitude and growth-mindset.
