Perhaps you've been in a Client Engagement or Business Development role, or Account Management, and are looking for the next opportunity. Here at Amentum, as a Client Engagement Manager you'll be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Government agencies, clients, and our industry partners and building innovative solutions to support our clients. The role is incredibly varied encompassing tasks such as, identifying or shaping new opportunities, market analysis, staff recruitment quotation/tender development, people management and more. We are seeking a self-motivated, high calibre candidate who works collaboratively and has a demonstrated capacity to positively contribute to and drive operational sales and account management outcomes in a high performing environment. What will I be doing day to day? Identify and pursue business opportunities in existing and new areas within DFAT or Department of Home Affairs Manage and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders Conduct site visits and meetings with clients and staff Prepare responses to tender and quotation requests Identify and assist with the recruitment of qualified staff and subconsultants in conjunction with our Recruitment partners and supply chain companies Maintain our contracts and trusted client relationships to secure repeat business and growth Prepare correspondence and reports What sort of skills do I need? Demonstrated Client Engagement/Account Management experience Strong experience and established networks in National Security environments. Previous DFAT or Home Affairs experience would be highly regarded. Strategic and financial acumen Highly developed communication skills Strong and proven client relationship building skills A proven record of working collaboratively as part of a team Hold and maintain an NV1 security clearance Other Criteria Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset (highly desirable) Proven operational sales experience (Highly Desirable) Experience in the use of Customer Relationship Management platforms (desirable) What’s in it for me?
