The hotel serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week and is available for functions, events, and catering! The team at the Salisbury Hotel are driven, supportive, and friendly. THE JOB The role will work as an all-rounder providing support to bars, food service, and gaming. This casual position has an opportunity for increased hours and career development for the right candidate. Approx. 15 to 35 hours available per week. Evidence of your Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) is essential to the role. TAB/Keno Training, Responsible Person Badge and Gaming Certificates are desired or the candidate must be willing to gain these. Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times Set up and reset specific activities as directed Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages Proficient in the professional service/supply, dispensing/mixing of liquor and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Ensure food, coffee & beverage presentation to the guests is to the required standard Ability to mix a wide range of sophisticated cocktails Ability is required to attend TAB or electronic gaming terminals Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operations Efficient and thorough knowledge of the point-of-sale operating system Must participate and achieve targets of add-on sales, up-selling, and spending per head To maintain the clean and neat presentation of the work area – bar and or restaurant area(s) by adherence to all operating policy and procedures Follow Standard Operational Procedures and/or Safe Work Procedures for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act 2012 Ensure personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Any other duties directed by Management ABOUT YOU If you have a friendly and approachable character with excellent communication skills, initiative, and willingness to learn, apply now!
