Description About the Role We’re looking for a creative and digitally savvy communicator to help share the CareerTrackers story. The Marketing & Digital Content Producer develops engaging campaigns and strong project plans, manages our social media presence and creates visual and video content that celebrates our students, alumni and partners. Working with the Director, Communications, you’ll create and present briefs and strategies that aim to engage our stakeholders and build the reputation of the CareerTrackers program. You’ll be part of a small but passionate team where your ideas will shape how we connect with our community online and beyond. You’ll hit the ground running with our iconic Leadership Development Institute (3 day student conference) and National Gala Awards in February, so be prepared to get your creative cap on, prioritise issues and deal with tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Communications Work with internal teams and external partners to develop marketing and communication strategies that will engage, inspire and drive our stakeholders to action in support of our organisational goals Develop written and visual content for web, email and social media channels. Contribute to campaign planning for events, student recruitment and partner engagement. Social Media & Digital Engagement Manage CareerTrackers’ social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube). Plan and schedule posts, respond to engagement and track performance using analytics tools. Identify opportunities to grow, reach and share authentic stories from our community. Review existing marketing and communication efforts and execute appropriate reporting to demonstrate impact and opportunities for improvement. Content Creation & Design Design digital and print materials such as event and marketing collateral, presentations and impact reports. Capture and edit photos and short videos for use across platforms. Oversee scripting and writing copy for multimedia materials for various channels. Find opportunities to improve and/or repurpose existing content to benefit the delivery of our program across Australia. Ensure all materials align with CareerTrackers’ brand and visual identity. Design and order branded merchandise for events. Digital & Analytics Update and maintain website content (WordPress or similar CMS). Use insights from analytics to inform content planning and reporting. Event Support Content development (and AV if needed) primarily at CareerTrackers’ annual Awards Gala and Learning Development Institute conference. Skills And Experiences Skills, Experience & Attributes Essential: At least 3 years’ experience in marketing, communications or digital content creation. Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills. Experience managing social media platforms for an organisation. Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar). Basic video production and editing skills. Familiarity with Mailchimp, WordPress or digital analytics tools. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative, can-do attitude and commitment to CareerTrackers’ mission. Desirable: Experience in the not-for-profit, education, corporate or with Indigenous communities. Photography or motion design experience. Knowledge and understanding of issues affecting Indigenous Australians.
