The Teacher Librarian (TL) leads the design and delivery of a dynamic, inclusive school library and information program that enriches learning across Palmerston District Primary School (PDPS). This role promotes literacy and information fluency, fosters digital citizenship, and supports teachers to deliver high-quality, differentiated, and inquiry-based learning. The TL models professional collaboration builds teacher capability, and champions inclusion and cultural integrity in all aspects of the library program. Eligibility/Other requirements: Applicants must have a recognised teaching qualification along with a recognised Teacher Librarian qualification or be currently enrolled in a course to attain this qualification. Mandatory A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification. Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) or eligibility to obtain TQI . Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
