The role: This role will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our libraries technical services and training staff and customers in the use of new technologies and upgrades. They will also develop and support innovative technologies across our Upper Hunter Shire Libraries. General library duties, customer service, acquisitions and cataloguing resources will also be a critical component of the position. The ability to develop and deliver small scale technology projects in the Libraries (such as Virtual reality, Robotics and 3D printers) is also essential, as is having experience in the use of an Integrated Library Management System (for example Aurora).
