We are looking for passionate people to provide high-quality services to ourdiverse community in the following role: Casual Librarian In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service to the community while helping library users build confidence and independence in using library spaces, digital platforms, and devices. You will also provide supervision and support to team members when needed, ensuring that library policies and procedures are consistently understood and followed by both staff and the public. Selection Criteria Qualifications and experience as listed in position description. Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values. Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of learning programs, events and activities. Considerable experience in a range of IT applications and digital technologies including handheld devices. Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a range of people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organisational strategic outcomes These casual positions do not have regular hours and will include a mixture of pre-planned shifts and unplanned replacement shifts.
