We have partnered with a long standing and highly recommended Self Insurer who are seeking a well experienced Workers Compensation Case Manager to join their close-knit team Manage approximately 35 claims across NSW state legislation Develop as a business partner, working closely with safety, HR and site operations The Role: Manage an allocated claims portfolio within legislative, self-insurance, and business requirements to reduce outstanding liabilities and achieve cost effective RTW (return to work) outcomes. Engage with key stakeholders to bring about understanding, involvement, and continuous improvement in claims management. Identify, escalate, and manage high risk and business sensitive claims in accordance with the relevant state process. Conduct timely and appropriate case reviews with stakeholders to ensure individual case strategies are developed, communicated, and achieved. About You: Have strong existing experience in managing claims within worker’s compensation across NSW state Legislation including experience with litigated and complex cases. Be a commercially minded yet empathetic, professional with a sound understanding of strategic case management. Confidence and influencing skills and comfortable making decisions and problem-solving.
