Our client, a Local Government department is seeking labourers for a temporary contract until the end of December 2025. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for supporting the team with a range of general labouring tasks, including: Assisting with the laying of watermains and pipe installation Undertaking labouring duties as directed/required Maintaining a safe worksite and following workplace health and safety procedures Supporting the team with equipment handling, basic site preparation, and housekeeping Requirements: White Card (construction induction). C Class Driver’s Licence. Basic numeracy, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively, safely, and ethically under supervision. Willingness to work on a physically demanding site and assist as needed. Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Reliable with a great work ethic. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. PPE Requirements: Hi-vis long sleeve shirts. Steel cap boots (no elastic-sided). Broad-brimmed hat (no caps).
