As the Strategic Project and Improvement Manager, you will lead and manage strategic projects and business improvement initiatives that shape the future of Brisbane’s development services. You will oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while driving capability building and fostering a values-based, customer-focused culture. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and integrated planning. You will play a key role in leveraging technology and systems to enhance efficiency and customer experience across the branch. To be considered, you will have: proven people leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams demonstrated success leading strategic projects and business improvement initiatives strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues expertise in project governance and applying consistent project management methodologies advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including negotiation and influencing ability to drive change and build organisational capability and agility understanding of systems thinking and technology to support digital transformation, and tertiary qualifications in business, planning or a related field (desirable).
