Position Available : Logistics Service Coordinator Location : Darwin, NT About the Role: We are seeking experienced Logistics Service Coordinators to assist our operations supervisors with the efficient coordination of asset allocation and rostering of staff to ensure smooth, timely and efficient deliveries to our customers. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Lead the Operations planning and scheduling for our Darwin Operations. Assist the Operations Supervisors in scheduling and planning rosters against asset availability. Develop and implement a roster and schedule for local drivers, ensuring maximum utilisation of assets while meeting optimum customer delivery timeframes. Manage the cross use of drivers, across their licence class and experience. Overseeing the day-to-day planning and scheduling of customer deliveries and tracking of drivers across scheduled runs. Collaborate with internal business teams to: manage planned maintenance on assets, planned leave against rostering, and forecasting staffing needs during seasonal periods. Collate data and create reports around absenteeism and asset utilisation. Monitor driver compliance in accordance with relevant fatigue management certificates. Skills and Experience: Strong verbal and written communication, as you will interact with various stakeholders - both internal and external. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the Transport/Logistics industry. Sound computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn bespoke systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain efficient workflows. Assisting in implementing quality control measures to ensure work meets industry compliance standards. Capacity to identify issues and find solutions to challenges that arise in day-to-day operations Aptitude for identifying issues and developing solutions to address challenges in day-to-day operations.
